Vatican eState is an application that lets you visualize the Catholic Church's buildings, schools, hospitals and hospitality locations. The starting point is the 70,000 bookmarks which correspond to just as many ecclesiastical properties.
It will be the app's users who help the database grow and make it more useful for everyone. The system provides the possibility to insert a new location of interest right on the map and tag it. The data will then be highlighted so users can check it and modify any possible errors.
Vatican eState has a very ambitious goal: to bring "Open Data" logic into one of the oldest institutions in the world and reveal interesting facts, services, enchanting and often unknown places, all in an interactive and entertaining way.
